Shipping policy

All products are shipped within 14 days from date of purchase, usually it is sooner than this, as we try our best to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Everything is handmade, to order, by us in our rural studio in Worcestershire, this is one of the reasons it can take a little bit longer for your order to be dispatched. If you need your order sooner than this, please do email us and we will do everything we can to get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

All lampshades and cushions are sent using tracked 48hr or tracked 24hr delivery, using either Royal Mail or Parcelforce (this is dependant on the size of your order, and quantity that has been ordered).

We currently ship within the Uk, USA and Australia.

All orders are securely shipped out in double walled cardboard boxes, and all lampshades are wrapped in recyclable bubblewrap. We try to reuse packaging as much as we can, while also maintaining the integrity of our packaging process, ensuring your items arrive with you safely and quickly.

International Shipping — USA & Australia

We're delighted to ship our handmade lampshades to customers across the United States and Australia!

All international orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked, so you can follow your order every step of the way from our studio in Worcestershire, UK, right to your door.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is charged at a flat rate of £32 per lampshade for all orders to the USA and Australia. (For cushions this may differ, please contact us for any queries)

Delivery typically takes 7–14 working days once your order has been dispatched. Please bear in mind that all of our lampshades are handmade to order, so please allow 1–2 weeks of processing time before dispatch.

If you need your order by a specific date, please get in touch before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Duties & Import Taxes

We've got you covered! Any import duties or taxes for US and Australian orders are included — there will be no surprise charges when your parcel arrives. What you see at checkout is what you pay.

Size Restrictions for International Orders

Due to Royal Mail's size restrictions, the following lampshade styles are available for UK delivery only and cannot be shipped internationally:

— Drum lampshades 45cm diameter and above
— Big Fat Cone
— Extra Tall Cone
— Extra Large Coolie Empire
— XXL French Drum Empire

All other styles and sizes are available to ship to the USA and Australia. If you're unsure whether a particular style can be shipped to you, please don't hesitate to get in touch — we're always happy to help!

Damage in Transit

We take great care in packaging every lampshade to ensure it arrives safely. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us at bypoppyuk@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will do our best to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.
