Bypoppyuk has hosted numerous workshops over the past few years, whether you are a crafty person, or not, we take you step by step through the process

Build your own group course

Create your very own custom lampshade course, where you and a few friends can enjoy a few hours making your very own lampshade/ ceiling shade. Bring along your own fabric, that you can match to your home interior, all other tools and materials will be provided.

For groups of 4 to 5 people, ages 13+ and of any craft level, we take you through the process step by step.

Workshops are hosted in our rural workshop in Feckenham, Worcestershire. Most of our workshops are between 3-4 hours and refreshments are provided.

Options for your bespoke course are below

Option A
All members of your group will be making either:
-30cm circular drum lampshade/ ceiling shade with a white lining
-40cm circular drum lampshade/ ceiling shade with a white lining

£50 per person
Option B
All members of your group will be making either:
-Standard Coolie empire lampshade
-Regular french drum empire lampshade
-Mini cone lampshade
-Chunky Mini cone lampshade

£55 per person
Option C
All members of your group will be making either:
-30cm double-sided circular drum lampshade/ ceiling shade
-40cm double-sided circular drum lampshade/ ceiling shade

Book a 1:1 / 2:1 day course

Have you ever wanted to master the art of lampshade making? With our create your own lampshade course you will be able to do just that! We offer both a one on one course, or bring along a friend for our 2:1 course.

Delving deeper into fabrics, tools and techniques, you can take your newly learned skills forward into making shades for your home with ease.
Below is a list of all the shades available to make, please use the contact form (at the bottom of this page) to let us know which 5 options you would like to be a part of your course.

Running from 9am-4pm, choose a day to suit you, a light lunch is included and refreshments throughout the day. Upon receiving your email, we will also send through a menu of what you can choose for lunch.
